Work in Calm, Structured Homes
The Home Standard is hiring Home Attendants for a role built around consistency, trust, and structure.
This is a W-2 position for people who do their best work when expectations are clear, routines are steady, and the goal is not chaos or speed—but calm, repeatable service inside private homes.
What This Role Actually Is
The Home Standard is a weekly home stability service for busy families and professionals.
We do not sell random, one-off cleaning help.
We do not let every visit become custom or client-led.
We provide a consistent weekly standard that helps homes stay calm, functional, and manageable over time.
As a Home Attendant, your job is to follow that standard every visit by helping maintain the home through:
Basic cleaning, dishes, laundry, light resetting/tidying and issue logging and closeout in the company app
This role is not about making every home perfect.
It is about creating predictable weekly stability.
What Makes This Role Different
Most home service jobs are built around speed, variety, and whoever is available.
This role is different.
At The Home Standard, we care about:
-
consistency over chaos
-
structure over improvisation
-
trust over “quick help”
-
repeatability over constant customization
That means:
-
you follow the same fixed order every visit
-
you work inside a clear system
-
you do not negotiate the plan with clients
-
you do not improvise based on emotion or urgency
-
you stop on time and let the system do its job over time
This is a role for people who like clarity, trust, and calm, not constant change.
Who Thrives Here
This role is a strong fit for someone who:
-
likes routine and predictability
-
prefers clear systems over making it up as they go
-
stays calm under pressure
-
can follow a process they did not create
-
respects privacy and trust inside people’s homes
-
does not need constant novelty to stay engaged
-
can stop on time without turning every visit into a rescue mission
-
is comfortable logging problems instead of trying to solve everything on-site
People who thrive here often come from backgrounds like:
-
hotel housekeeping
-
hospitality operations
-
warehouse/logistics
-
process-driven support roles
-
family assistant or nanny roles with strong boundaries

Who This Role Is Not For
This role will likely not feel good if you want a highly flexible schedule, prefer constant variety, or like adjusting the work based on the moment. It is also not a good fit for people who want clients to direct the visit, who struggle with scripts and structure, or who tend to go “above and beyond” by changing scope without approval.
We are not looking for someone to freestyle inside the home. We are looking for someone who can operate inside a clear system.
What The Work Feels Like
As a Home Attendant, you will support the same homes on a recurring basis and help maintain a calm, functional environment through weekly reset work. The role includes household support tasks such as cleaning, dishes, laundry, and general home reset work, but the most important part of the role is not the task list — it is the consistency.
This is a role for someone who understands that the real job is protecting the standard, not reinventing it.
What Matters Most In This Role
Success here is not defined by how much extra you do in the moment. It is defined by whether you can follow the standard, respect time boundaries, communicate professionally, and maintain trust inside private homes.
The people who do best in this role are the ones who can stay calm under pressure, follow a process they did not create, and avoid turning every visit into a custom situation.
Our Hiring Process
We hire carefully because this role depends on trust and consistency. Candidates who move forward go through a short screening step, a structured interview, background check, onboarding, and paid training. Independent work begins only after certification.
We do not hire casually and hope it works out later. We hire for fit, then train for consistency.
Before You Apply
Ask yourself honestly:
-
Do I like doing the same work in a clear system every week?
-
Can I follow rules without improvising?
-
Can I stop on time even when work remains?
-
Can I work inside private homes with strong boundaries and trust?
-
Would I rather have consistency than constant change?
If yes, we’d love to hear from you.
If not, that is completely okay — but this role probably won’t feel like a good fit long term.
Apply
If this sounds like the kind of work you would genuinely want, we’d love to hear from you.
